Spots
A Geo-Locational Skate Spot Finding Tool
As an avid skateboarder I often find myself spending hours upon hours on google maps searching the streets for fun features and obstacles to toil around upon. While it is fairly easy to find your way if you are familiar with your area or are looking for something notable. It is when I am in a new place that I find myself both most excited and consistently unable to find cool skate-able features near me. Spots is a direct solution to this pain point. By creating an easy to use, crowdsourced repository of spots, with location based recommendations. I can have fun anywhere, anytime, and help others like myself do the same.

Electrochromic Ski Goggle
My pride and joy. A goggle that shifts tint at the press of a button.
A goggle for any and every condition. The Diesent EC goggle was both my most trying and rewarding project to date. All aspects of the goggle are hand designed from the ground up (except the electrochromic film, of course). The frame was modelled in rhino 6, and printed in a flexible carbon laced material. The electronic components were designed, welded and waterproofed in a non-ventilated corner of my apartment, and the entire functionality was coded to a simple microcontroller. The Diesent goggle truly is a one-stop shop for any and everyday winter sport joy.
SHFT Smartphone case
Stylish, Modular, and Customizable Case for Your Smartphone.
I have always been an undeniable sucker for a cool graphic phone case. I love supporting my favorite brands and designers, and as an artist myself, I enjoy showcasing my own work as often as I am able. I had been contemplating the idea of ordering a custom phone case, utilizing my own art as a design, but found myself unable to choose an individual piece. “Why not make a case I can customize myself?” I thought. Thus, the SHFT was born. a case with a removable graphic that creates limitless unique possibilities. From personal style, to artistic expression, to branded trading card graphics, the shift offers a new world of personal and marketable opportunities for artists and brands alike.

The Osprey - Experimental Mountain Bicycle Helmet
A beloved personal project.
Between the January and September of 2021, I have spent my days working in an extreme sport specific helmet and goggle store, selling high quality ski, skate, and bike helmets. More than anything else, what fascinated me was the design and development aspects of the helmet making process. So, channeling what I learned about safety, comfort, and preferred features I decided to design my own helmet. Called the Osprey, due to its similarity in aesthetic to the costal bird of prey. The osprey combines intentionally placed high EPS volume impact zones and precise ventilation, with a sleek, angular, and streamlined design. Using its angled profile to increase airflow and aerodynamics, while adding foam in the posterior of the shell to better survive intense impact situations and slip outs.
Organic Modelling - An Ode to Munny
Designed in Rhinoceros
Among my fondest childhood memories is my first trip to MoMA in New York City. Though I was far too immature to appreciate the vast library of notable works contained within those walls, I will never forget my first entrance into the museum gift shop. A paradise for a young creative mind, a never ending forest of gidgets and gadgets galore. It was there that I first came across KidRobot’s Vinyl Munny figure, a plain white statue created purely as a canvas. I spent hours designing and detailing my first Munny, carefully planning and crafting every addition. This was the essential moment that defined the inception of my design career and the direction of my life thus far.
This piece is an ode to that moment. Designed in Rhino, rendered in auto desk and produced using 3D printers and Laser cut 3/8 in. maple ply. Standing at 14 inches, and weighing ~15lbs.
Current Project - WayvSpace Drafting Desk
A fully customizable workspace experience
As a Designer I find myself constantly adjusting my body and desk throughout any given design experience. I like to sketch on a mildly angled surface, outline on a flat horizontal surface, and paint on a near ninety degree easel. all while using my laptop, and monitor on the same surface.
The WayvSpace is a dual platform desk composed of 48, inch wide, vertically aligned 15 inch wooden strips. Each strip is adjustable on a 90 degree pivot, allowing the user the ability to create platforms of custom width and angle at will and with astounding ease. The front and back levels are independently adjustable for an entirely personalized experience.
The desk has two “modes”, the first being “work mode” within which all of the pieces are stagnated and nothing is moveable. The second is “malleable mode”, where the user can adjust all components to their liking by pressing the button on either end of the desk’s front profile.
The angle of each bar is stabilized by a motorized system of bolt clamps and joinery, but are arranged and shifted into the ideal position by hand.

Forest fire simulation
Quick little mini game that simulates the difficulty in the mitigation of forest fires. The user chases randomly spawning flames with a water bucket. The game’s incredible difficulty is purposeful and is designed to display the frustration forest fire fighters feel in the continual reincarnation of the flames, and the unpredictable nature of the fire itself.
JS Animation
Fun little graphic animation
Used P5js to code a letter based spiral animation. The code converts the vectorized letterforms into points and then rotates each point around a mapped center point. The points are all rotated on a constant distance increment, but since their radii are all unique, the resulting effect is something totally new.
Guitar Scales Learning App
In early 2019, a close friend of mine was attempting to learn how to play the guitar. He had achieved some level of proficiency by mimicking famous guitarists and learning how to perform famous songs. But, he was having trouble using basic scales and understanding how notes worked in sequence. This was my solution to his difficulty, finding a condensed and easy to understand learning tool.
The right and left arrow increment through the basic major and minor scale types, while the up and down arrows shift the key note. Each note may be clicked to play it’s given sound

Modern movie posters reworked in the style of 1960s vintage book covers
A passion fueled design experiment.
Throughout my childhood, my grandparents had a towering library of old books from the mid-twentieth century. Before I could even begin to comprehend the cultural significance of the stories bound within the never ending spines, I was enthralled by the colorful, geometric designs that laid across the paperback covers of my grandfathers old philosophy books. This is an ode to the designers of that era.
